[It has been awhile since I blogged because this blog was originally created for a J-term class I created for myself on the Black Lives...

Hi! I'm Paris, I'm 33 years old, an ordained Pastor in the ELCA serving a UCC congregation, trained community organizer, and seeker of post-capitalistic ways of living that honor the dignity of ALL life - people and planet. I am a Midwest native currently serving in my hometown. I studied Psychology and Religion before getting my Mastors of Divinity and Masters of Theology with an emphasis on Economic and Ecological Justice. My only children have 4 legs; 8 yr old Chiweenie & 3 yr old Corgidor.

I started this blog as part of a seminary class, using it initially for a course I took as a tool to help educate others on what I was learning about BLM and exposing our systems steeped in White Supremacy and racism. Since then I have used this platform to post my weekly sermons and post in general about faith and the human condition -
the highs, lows, passions, heartbreaks and where I see God in the midst of it all. I mainly blog as a form of advocacy and because we are not meant to journey alone.
